Within the Details tab there are eight sub tabs that will allow the user to view more information about a selected property. The eight tabs that contain the additional information are General, Improvements, Transfer History, Assessments, Tax Information, City Resources, Scanned Documents, and Crime Statistics.
By default the General tab will be displayed which contains the basic information for the property including Assessment Neighborhood, Property Class, Legal Description, Subdivision Number, and a photo of the property.
Clicking on the Improvements tab will display information about building improvements including Year Built, Square Footage, Number of Rooms, and Construction information. The property photo and sketch will also be displayed in this tab. If multiple
To view the Transfer History which includes Date of Sale and Sale Price, click on the "Transfer History" tab.
The Assessments tab displays several years of assessment information about the selected property which includes Land Value, Improvement Value, and Total Value.
The Tax Information tab will open a frame within the browser window that will allow the user to scroll up and down to see information that's directly linked from the Office of the City Treasurer.
The City Resources tab will display information specific to the selected parcel for several categories including Land Development, Neighborhood Services, Public Works, Economic Development, and Voting.
Clicking on the Scanned Documents tab will allow users to select and view any scanned documents that may be available for the selected parcel.
Note: This tool is currently only available from within the City of Hampton's network.
The Crime Statistics tab will display crime information for the zone within which the parcel is located or for the entire City of Hampton. The user can choose to see a summary of crime statistics for the previous year for the zone or the entire City. The user can also choose to see crime statistics for the year to date by month for the zone or for the entire City. If the by month option is chosen, the cells will be colored white, green, or red to show if crime has stayed the same, decreased, or increased from one month to the next.
To generate a pdf file that contains information that is formatted for printing, click on the "Printer-Friendly" link at the top left of the page. |
After the pdf file has been generated, the following message will display which will prompt you to view or download the file:
The resulting pdf file is formatted to fit an 8.5 x 11 page in portrait orientation and contains selected information from the tabs in the Details section.
